DISTRICT 1 LEGISLATIVE/RAPID RESPONSE CONFERENCE
August 31 and September 1
TO: USW DISTRICT 1 LOCAL UNION PRESIDENTS, RECORDING SECRETARIES AND UNIT CHAIRPERSONS
The District 1 Legislative/Rapid Response Conference has been scheduled for August 31 and September 1, 2016 at the GREAT WOLF LODGE, located at 2501 Great Wolf Drive, Mason, Ohio 45040. The Conference will convene at 9:00 a.m. on August 31 and a banquet will be held that evening. We will reconvene on September 1 at 9:00 a.m. and adjourn by 12:30 p.m.
Registration is as follows:
Tuesday, August 30th 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 31st 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
The room rate is $109 per night plus tax (this includes four free water park passes per room). To make a reservation please call the Great Wolf Lodge Cincinnati/Mason 1-866-954-9653 and provide them with Reservation #1608USW1 for our group rate. The cut-off date for reservations is August 1, 2016. We encourage your prompt response for reservations as this rate will not be available after the above date. Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary for all guests. *This group rate is available 3 days pre/post event based on availability for guests that would like to extend their stay.
Each Local Union Delegate will be required to submit a Registration Fee of $175.00. Dinner guests may attend the reception/banquet if they are listed on your registration form and the form is received by the USW District 1 office no later than August 1, 2016. The cost for dinner guests will be $50.00. Please return the enclosed registration form, along with your check made payable to District 1 PEC Fund to the address listed below. Deadline for Registration/Reservation is August 1, 2016. Please be sure to include the name(s) of your guest(s) on the registration form.
