Make Corporations Pay

From the AFL-CIO

More than 100 organizations told Congress, with one voice, to reject a proposal to let U.S. multinational corporations pay zero taxes on offshore profits.

President Donald Trump and Republican leaders want to give massive, profitable corporations a free ride in a tax plan unveiled last week.

Meanwhile, a working family earning $50,000 a year would pay $888 more in taxes under the new tax plan from President Trump, which would cut his own taxes by millions of dollars.

Organizations like Americans for Tax Fairness and many others joined the AFL-CIO to oppose the largest offshore tax loophole in American history.

Instead of rigging America’s economic rules to benefit the wealthy, Congress and Trump should write new rules to benefit working families.
