Labor author and activist Anne Balay recently joined us for one of our Pride Month presentations hosted by our Civil and Human Rights Department. Anne discussed her work, “Steel Closets,” which highlights the voices of Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender steel workers. She is also the author of “Semi Queer,” which focuses on Gay, Transgender, and Black truck drivers.
