October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. USW District 9 is committed to working towards a future free of all forms of this terrible disease. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women and one of the leading causes of cancer related death.
“District 9 honors the memories of our members and their families who lost their lives to breast cancer and support the courageous survivors still fighting,” stated Director Daniel Flippo. “The pink ribbons hanging at the District 9 Office are a symbol of our commitment to everyone affected by breast cancer and the hope for a cure.”
