Unified Bargaining Committee Reports Progress, Sets Dates to Resume Talks with Asarco
Our fight for fairness and justice at Asarco continues, and the unions’ Unified Bargaining Committee met with management from April 29 through May 3, 2024.
The week-long talks last week were productive—with numerous proposals exchanged between the sides.
While we can report that the gap separating the parties on important issues is closing significantly, there are important differences that remain unresolved.
We are scheduled to return to the table to continue bargaining with Asarco from May 20-23, 2024.
