exxonmobil lockout

Exxon put our families on the streets and now it's personal

Over the past year, ExxonMobil told our Steelworker siblings at Local 13-243 they were essential as they worked through the COVID-19 pandemic, hurricanes, floods and an unprecedented freeze. Now, ExxonMobil is rewarding that hard work and sacrifice by forcing them off their jobs.

We're fighting not just for us, but all of us

On May 1, ExxonMobil locked out more than 650 Steelworkers at their Beaumont, Texas refinery and their blending and packaging plant to force the workers to accept a proposal which included major changes impacting members’ safety, security and seniority.

From good, union job to food banks: Exxon lockout hurting our families

Our siblings at Local 13-243 want to work but were turned away from ExxonMobil in Beaumont, Texas. Locked out of their jobs and cut off from pay, our families are now forced to feed their families with union donations.
