Members will be on their own for dinner on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
We will be offering two workshops listed below that have a maximum number of participants per class.
Two-Day Financial Training Classes:
- The class being held on Monday and Tuesday will be a Basic Training Class (for those just getting started) for Financial Secretaries and Treasurers only. This class will have a maximum number of 50 participants. Members should plan on attending both days if they sign up.
- For those Members attending the Advanced Financial Training Class they will be held on Wednesday and Thursday and you should plan on attending both days. You will learn posting, how to complete an LM form, etc. Again, this class is for Financial Secretaries and Treasurers with a maximum of 50 participants.
For both sets of classes, you must have a laptop with the Excel program installed and functioning before you report for your classes. We are also asking that each Member bring their Local Union Contract to the Conference for their use in different workshops. We will be providing Constitutions to all Members.
We are also holding two one-day FMLA Training Classes which will be limited to the first 50 Members who register for each workshop. The FMLA workshops will be the same, just offered twice so more Members can take advantage of the workshop.
Members do not need to sign up for any other workshops except the ones noted above.
We will be doing a community project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace. We are asking locals to sponsor the cost of a bed or make a monetary donation. All the information is on the flyer linked below with the details along with a separate sign-up/donation page. We hope that we receive great participation for this worthwhile project. Locals and individuals can donate if they cannot sponsor a bed.
